VOLTA®: Technology inscribed in the city

An inside look at the implementation of VOLTA® noise barriers shows us how multifunctional noise barrier solutions work out in complex urban environment.

Modern infrastructure can protect and power the city at the same time. At the Marsa interchange in Warsaw, commissioned by the Public Roads Authority (ZDM), we implemented a pioneering project of VOLTA® noise barriers which not only reduce traffic noise but also generate solar energy to power the elevator and its ventilation systems. This is an example of versatile technology that works in service of residents, environment, and modernity. Who, if not Warsaw, should blaze such trails?
