18th anniversary of the company’s founding

Do you remember March 2006? There was no highway leading to Warsaw yet. The opening of the Konin – Stryków section of the A2 was only planned. The A4 Legnica – Wrocław section was also renovated.

The real investment boom was yet to come. And this was one of the reasons why @Reinhard Kohlhauer, the owner of R.Kohlhauer GmbH, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, decided to invest in Poland and use his vast experience. Together with @Maciej Zakrzewski, who continues to manage the Polish company, and @Piotr Jusewicz, he opened a new chapter in the history of acoustic screens in Poland – the ALFA BOND KOHLHAUER company.

We started in a tiny, one-room office in Ożarów Mazowiecki. However, this did not prevent us from pursuing ambitious challenges. Our first project was acoustic screens on the viaduct along Hynka Street in Warsaw. Interestingly, we already delivered there transparent panels in system aluminum frames – a unique phenomenon in Poland at that time.

Aesthetics, quality and functionality have always been the most important to us. Already in 2007, Polish designers and engineers, along with subsequent implementations, were able to widely use the range of transparent acoustic screens of the KOHLHAUER SCORSA system. In 2008, we launched comprehensive production in Poland – for our clients and the KOHLHAUER group. In the following years, we expanded our offer with further noise protection solutions. We muted, among others: the Wrocław motorway bypass and the tunnel in Ursynów within the southern bypass of Warsaw.

Today we celebrate our 18th birthday! We have an excellent, well-coordinated and proven team and tools to suppress noise and ensure clean air in cities. We support investors and main contractors, including: communication arteries, we care about the comfort of local communities and provide Smart City solutions for local governments. Simply put – we see opportunities where others see barriers. Because silence does not have to limit visibility. And where noisy environments are a problem, we always care about the comfort of residents and ensure environmental protection against noise and air pollution.
